The Gong Room – Private Sound Bath Booking Policies

  • The minimum booking fee for private sound baths is $200, which is nonrefundable.
  • If you cancel your booking, this $200 fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Ticketing and credit card fees are NOT refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
  • Payments for additional participants are refundable up to 14 days before your scheduled session.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled date are nonrefundable in full.
  • The discounted per-person rate is only available when booking. 
  • Payment for unpaid participants is made on the day of the event, before the session begins, by exact cash or credit card in a single payment
  • If the number of participants decreases after advance payment, no refunds or credits will be issued for the difference in the total amount.
  • We recommend purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance policy in case an emergency arises and you are unable to make your booking, especially if your booking date is far in the future. Alternatively, consider waiting to book until you are closer to your preferred date, or even once you arrive in town. We will accommodate same-day bookings when available.
  • We are not liable for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions). In such cases, credits or refunds will be offered at our discretion.

Transfer Option

  • You may transfer your booking to another person or group if you are unable to attend. Please notify us in advance of the new attendee’s name.

Rescheduling Policy:

  • 14 days or more before your scheduled session: allowed with a $50 rescheduling fee.
  • 7–14 days before your session: allowed with a $100 rescheduling fee.
  • Within 7 days of your scheduled date: no rescheduling allowed.
  • Rescheduling fees are nonrefundable.
  • The new session date must be scheduled within 30 days of the original booking date.
  • You may reschedule twice. 

 

No-Shows:

  • No refunds or credits are offered for no-shows.

 

Studio Policies:

  • Only water in closed, leak-proof containers is allowed in the venue. 
  • Party favors and food are not allowed.
  • The venue is shoes off, socks on.  No exceptions. Please bring your own socks.
  • Phones must be turned all the way off (not silent or airplane) and stored in the cubbies during the session.
  • Photos, videos, and audio recordings are not allowed. 

Physical Considerations:

  • If anyone in the group is unable to get down and up from the floor without assistance, or cannot lie on the floor for the entire event, please email us before making payment so we can discuss the available options. 

Arrival & What to Bring:

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in. Late arrivals will result in a shortened session.
  • A mat, bolster, pillow, blanket, and eye mask are provided for each person (or a massage table setup for 1-2 people).
  • Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers for optimal comfort.

Liability Waiver:

  • All guests are required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
  • A parent or guardian must accommodate and sign the waiver for anyone under the age of 18.
