The Soundbath Center
Come experience our Gong Wall!
Founded by Jamie Bechtold (formerly Jamie Ford) The Soundbath Center, originally called The Sound Space, opened in March 2015. We specialize in offering a variety of sound bath experiences in an intimate, small group environment. In our sound bath events we use a combination of 8 or more gongs and 16 crystal singing bowls. Our intention is to use sound baths, and other powerful modalities, such as breathwork and crystals, to create an opportunity for people to relax and connect to their physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects. We also strive to educate, and our goal is to provide clear and grounded information about the various effects of sound and self awareness. Our objective is to help you tune in, not out.
We limit all events to only 10 participants for maximum effectiveness and enjoyment. We take pride in our high energy, intimate environment that offers a space for people to truly relax and tune in to themselves, without the distraction of a large group. With smaller groups we find people are better able to receive the full benefits of each sound bath experience as the energy can be managed much easier.
GongPlay® Sound Bath is our signature sound bath experience. In this event participants simply lay down, listen, and stay present with their experience. Most people feel deeply relaxed in both body and mind after the sound bath. We also offer premium sound bath events, including Breathwork SoundLab™, Full and New Moon Sound Baths, and Crystalline Soundbath. The premium events are led by two teachers, include hands-on energywork, and additional high energy tools to enhance the experience.

The closest airport is Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, and we suggest this if possible. Otherwise, LAX is runner up. There are basic hotel options in the Glendale and Pasadena areas, and many students have had wonderful luck with local Airbnbs. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions about getting or staying here.
